I just returned home from a very enjoyable lunch at Ingleside Village Pizza. The lunch included several supporters in addition to Andrew Hunt and some very good pizza. We were also joined by a Channel 11 news reporter from Atlanta…

Here is your document Mr. Richardson

I suppose the fact that Cliffard Whitby is the director of the Central Georgia Partnership for Individual and Community Development was not sufficient proof for Mr. Richardson. CGPICD are the ones behind Promise at Ballard. The screenshot above was his…

Why the Public has Doubts about the Promise Neighborhood in Macon

Charles Richardson released part III in his “hard-hitting” series to get to the truth. Never mind that this is the same crap he has spewed for two years or more. I see no need to discuss his newest editorial because he…

A Glimmer of Hope on the Macon-Bibb County Board of Education

Screen Shot 2014 07 21 at 9.15.54 PM e1405993448319 1

There is no Accounting in Macon

I think Charles missed his calling. Instead of working as an editor, he would have made a great stenographer or someone that keeps minutes at meetings. An opinion editorialist and indeed any journalist has a number of duties and responsibilities…

My Response to Charles Richardson on “An Accounting” Editorial

Charles must be getting nervous. He is circling the wagons and trying to spread the culpability far and wide over the Promise center boondoggle. He is purposefully trying to misrepresent the criticism voiced by such critics as Dave Oedel and…

In July 2014 I wrote a prizefight preview. Macon: a pile of museums, a music legacy, and a city government I did not much trust with either. Warner Robins: a fast growing base town about to spend real money on…
