I decided to create this website because I see a great need for a community based and alternative news source for both the Middle Georgia and indeed the entire state of Georgia and beyond. The local news media has quite frankly done a very poor job of reporting on many serious issues that affects our community.

I cannot do this alone. I am looking for people that enjoy writing articles. I plan for this website to cover an extremely broad range of topics from political corruption and ineptitude to sports, technology, school news, and many others. People have been complaining for years about the lack of journalistic integrity in Macon and all of central Georgia so now is your chance to do something about it. Even if you cannot write articles, leave comments, spread the word to your friends and family on Facebook or Twitter, participate in the forums, and help grow this website into a voice that will be heard in downtown Macon, at the capitol building in Atlanta and even in D.C.

Optimistic curmudgeon, snark jockey, lovably opinionated purveyor of wisdom and truth. Multi-lingual world traveler and part-time irreverent philosopher who dabbles in writing, political analysis, and social commentary. Attempting to provide some sanity and clarity to complex issues with a dash of sardonic wit and humor. Thanks for visiting!

  1. I think this is a great idea. I love how simple the design is and look forward to more information and further website development.
